Commitment.
Community.
Continuity.

What i believe in

I have worked hard to ensure that I am knowledgeable and have a full understanding of the workings of the City of Kawartha Lakes departments and processes.

I am well versed in funding opportunities available through all levels of government and have a proven track record of assisting our community to access these funds to improve our businesses, streetscapes and to increase the quality of our day-to-day lives.

We will continue to have a voice as I vigorously represent you through my active participation on City of Kawartha Lakes Council and through my active membership on a diverse group of action committees:

  • Community Policing Advisory Committee OPP

  • Committee of Adjustment

  • Agriculture Advisory Board

  • Executive Committee

  • Victoria Manor Management Board

  • Kawartha Conservation Executive Committee

  • Bobcaygeon Legacy C.H.E.S.T. Committee

  • Kawartha Lakes Arts Council

  • Environmental Action Bobcaygeon

  • Impact 32

I have diligently worked to build relationships within government, business and our community

I will continue to build on existing partnerships and relationships and seek out new partnerships as I work to include my expanded ward.

We need continuity

We need continuity to maximize our progress and reach our goals. Making steady progress on our established plan while also listening carefully to community members is key. With the expanded ward boundaries, I will extend my ability to provide responsible, thoughtful and experienced representation to all towns within my expanded ward.

I believe in transparency and community consultation

I will continue to be an advocate for transparency and consultation while using my experience to help steer and contribute as we continue to work together building a strong, financially sound and exciting future for all residents, including --

  • drawing visitors to some of our lesser known gems such as the Victoria Rail Trail, Somerville Tract and the incredible Austin Sawmill Heritage Park and Kinmount Railway Station Museum,

  • advocating for a public works depot in Burnt River,

  • guiding the redevelopment of Beach Park and Canal Street in Bobcaygeon,

  • upgrading and maintaining roads throughout the Ward.

And, of course, because I keep my campaign promises.
